Numerical implementation

• tracking of previous solution. Can we reuse it to speed calculations?
• Use logistic equation for % conductivity loss, as this has analytic solution
• use of Newton vs GSS methods (current have both, but GSS is more stable)

Streamlined setup

• what inputs do we need and are these in the right place?
• do we need all the functions?

Timesale

• easy ability to apply at different timescales, e.g. within a day, forced with drivers, etc.
