Cannot type in lesson prompt

Hi I'm having some trouble with the tutorial

$ docker --version
Docker version 18.09.3, build 774a1f4

When I start ./tutorial.sh I can interact with the menu prompt, but when the lesson is started I cannot type at all.

+1 with the same issue :(
i had the tutorial on cloud vm and there with ctrl+c i was able to use the tutorial.
but when on virtualbox, ctrl+c kicks me out from the tutorial...
