It would be good to provide an estimate to users of how long an analysis will take to execute.

This may not be possible in many cases for mathematical/technical reasons. Could have per-analysis heuristics for estimating time based on number of points, point density, bounding box, etc. Time estimates could be trained based on duration of previous executions.
