I would expect the metadata of a sample to appear on the right side when I click on it on the map on the left side. However, this is not happening.

the map shows material used in the study which is described with meta data on the right. The meta data for germplasm you see on hover. the metadata for the study you see on the right side throughout the application.

This method is not very intuitive or self-explanatory. Simply displaying information when hovering over the germplasm is not helpful for me as a user. I would prefer to be able to additionally click on the germplasm to access more details. It would be helpful if the relevant information appeared on the right side, along with additional details such as which experiments were performed (with links to results), and contact information for those interested in using the germplasm etc.
