Galaxy EU compute infrastructure (bwCloud/deNBI/OpenStack cloud)
Below is the information about the machines that are available for spawning VMs in bwCloud OpenStack under the project freiburg_galaxy
These constitute the compute infrastructure (VGCN infrastructure) for the Galaxy EU instance
We also use some of the following flavors for hosting services as well as dedicated user VMs on special cases
We also use some of the following flavors for TIaaS (Training Infrastructure as a Service) for the Galaxy EU instance
Other than the following custom flavors we also have regular cloud flavors that are available in bwCloud OpenStack

If you multiply cores in the flavours with the count and sum up you get 8952 cores (virtual) (If each hypervisor supports only one flavor, this should be correct)
List of machines where each flavor can be spawned
Yes means that the flavor can be spawned on the machine
yes in Shared column means that the machine is shared with other flavors or more than 1 VM of a individual flavor can be spawned on that machine
Most hosts can spawn only one flavor but some can spawn more than one flavor or more than 1 VM of a individual flavor and max two VMs per machine
