axioms of 'protozoan vaccine' #629
Comments
I have a few comments/issues:
|
Based on what defined in the VO, the equivalent is only "Eukaryote". microbe has not defined in the ontology. The range of 'immunizes against microbe' is organism. Don't know how will you make the equivalent easily. I am fine with the term 'protozoan vaccine' but I'd like we can define it correctly using equivalent axiom. The reason I proposed parasite vaccine only for simplifying the issue.
The definition of the term is 'A vaccine that targets against a bacterial disease'. Not indicate the disease caused by Archaea.
I suggest to add the axiom Actually, I prefer to define 'vaccine for pathogen' follow DOID disease by infectious agent pattern, it contains subClasses:
So, I preferred term label is 'vaccine for infectious agent'. The infectious agent is equivalent to |
protozoan vaccine = 'immunizes against microbe' some Eukaryota
It is not correct since protozoan is a type of single-celled eukaryotic microorganism. So, it can be subClassOf 'immunizes against microbe' some Eukaryota but not equivalent.
Current VO only contains parasite vaccine. Propose to change it to: parasite vaccine, and it equivalent to 'immunizes against microbe' some 'parasite organism'
Besides, the related terms 'bacterial vaccine' and 'vaccine for pathogen' can be improved as well.
'bacterial vaccine' = 'immunizes against microbe' some Bacteria
'vaccine for pathogen' = 'immunizes against microbe' some (organism and 'has disposition' some 'pathogen desposition'
