I am writing a script to selectively pull Devhelp tarballs from the valadoc.org homepage which correspond to the *.vapi files on my system.
It would be helpful to be able to compare a sha256sum value for each available Devhelp in order to detect future available updates. Besides, this is a standard practice on sites offering downloads.
