Thanks.

That is for the windows 11 24h2 upgrade. It's telling you to uninstall EP before you upgrade.

I can confirm this is the case.
I uninstalled EP to upgrade, then reinstalled.

EP windows 10 Side task , not supported on Build 26100.2894

Is EP works OK (Start Menu etc) after reinstalling on 22H2?

This is not a bug with EP. You're supposed to uninstall EP before upgrading windows 11 to a major version like 24h2. After the upgrade is complete, then you can install EP again.

This is the intended behavior.

I have uninstalled, updated to 24H2, re-installed, and not getting Windows 10 taskbar functionality needed to set the taskbar to the right of the screen

The tray toolbar option is gone after the Windows update

Thanks, but that entire feature is disabled in 24H2. EP now says something to the effect of "Windows 10 taskbar is not supported by this version of Windows." I restored 23H2 for now to maintain this feature until updated.

Please show a screen shot of the one you selected that shows that error message. If you only selected the one that says Windows 10, then you selected the wrong one. You should be selecting the one that says Windows 10 (ExplorerPatcher).

The toolbars work after changing the taskbar style. Thank you.

You are correct, thank you, pyrates999. "Windows 10" worked in 23H2 but now "Windows 10 (ExplorerPatcher)" is needed in 24H2. Taskbar is working again, including moving to the side.
