Can i still restore a 8 word phrase Wallet in 2025

I found my Keys again this year after a long time not looking into verge.

Im pretty sure i had some in my old wallet from around 2017-18.

Is it still possible to restore them?

if you still have the verge electrum wallet, we have electrum servers online still, you can connect to them manually

Unfortunatly none of the Servers allow me to connect in the electrum app. Both ways (non tor and normal).

Im on Windows 11.

Do i need a connection? (I used the ones provided in the link)

what did the .log file say? if you use the tor electrum, you need to have tor running along side of it and use the much longer .onion address that is on that website i linked previously, those 2 onions in the default use the shorter version 2 tor address and no longer work on the network. but the 7eagtn6nsmlyjhjv647ejj4j4orgb2cotoc5dl73qpamhvbvioao4zad.onion (from the bitcoin-eye monitor site) should work for the tor.

also, you can not have both running at the same, as they experience port conflicts.

give me a bit and i will try to connect the 2.4 xvg electrum and see what happens. about a month ago someone said they were able to connect, after they modified the config and the electrum servers there instead of in the settings tab

I coudn't get it to connect even with tor running in the background.

i tried this approach https://coinguides.org/import-electrum-wallet-to-qt-wallet/ had multiple private key that i imported in the new wallet app.

I synced the whole blockchain but it shows no funds.

Im not even sure if i still had funds so maybe we just let it be.
