Description of task

The current code for Thruster Interface is inefficient and needs to be improved. Consider rewriting the code in CPP.

Inspiration can be taken from Freya's Thruster Interface:

  • Every function in header files are documented (inputs/returns/exceptions)
  • The project has automated tests that cover MOST of the functions and branches in functions (pytest/gtest)
