Typescript, Vue 3, Apollo, GraphQ - help needed pls?

Hi.
I have a brand new, thus very standard straight out of the Vue CLI build using Application API and Composition API.
I am trying to set up Apollo & GraphQL but cannot manage with the instructions in the Vue-Apollo docs.

1. Does anybody know of an example app with the above config than they point me at? or
2. Does any body have a cookbook recipe for what I am trying to do?

Finally, is there any news or update on the awaited vue-apollo@next?
