Note: we're extending the current charter by 6 months (until end of September).

(we're struggling to get eyes on a preliminary draft charter but we're pushing)

We now have a draft charter for PSIG (see first comment of this issue).

Next steps:

  1. October 31: Deadline for PSIG to suggest changes to the draft charter
  2. November 14: Start of the AC review
  3. December 12: Deadline for AC Review
  4. December 19: Approval of new PSIG charter (assuming no substantive changes needed)

In the meantime, we need to extend the current PSIG until the end of December 2024.

@rigo, we haven't sent an advance notice on this. Can you please send a draft to Comm?

The timeline in #460 (comment) looks good to me. Can we extend the current charter to, say, end of December, in order to buy us time to let this unfold?

Also, I've only done a fairly quick read of the charter, not a line-by-line deep review, but it did not seem to me to be in particular need of any change.

The PSIG has reviewed the charter, changes have been agreed, the charter is up to date and here is the readable version

I suggest to prepare the AC review now

The charter draft looks good to me, I support moving forward with the AC review

Tilt approval to start the AC review has been requested.

fyi, we skipped the horizontal review phase for this charter since the group does hold technical discussion. I opened w3c/Guide#255 to document that.
