Should consider including /sandbox and /testcases while we're at it.

The "move subpages" option exists in the API and as a check box when moving pages, but is only available to page movers and admins.

I'll just say to start that I don't think this is necessarily something that happens so often that it would require fixing. If it's a simple fix, then ignore this part, but if it's going to be tedious or unnecessarily convoluted to implement, might be worth considering (templates being created at AFC is pretty rare). That being said...

I don't know if this will make it more complex but it should be a) opt-in, and b) a checkbox situation. For (a), the issue is that doing it automatically would be problematic if there are pages that shouldn't be included. For (b), it alleviates (a) but also allows the reviewer to double-check which pages can/should be moved.
