Crash shortly after startup #1144

Describe the bug
On any version of Supermium 126, up to and including Supermium 126.0.6478.261 R7, when I run the program it will start as normal, starts loading the homepage, then crashes. I recieve no error message, the program just closes.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Run program

Expected behavior
The program should start as normal, finish loading the homepage, and not crash in the process.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Windows XP SP3 with the Unofficial SP4
  • Supermium 32-bit
  • Processor: Pentium 4 Northwood 3.0 Ghz with Hyperthreading
  • RAM: 2GB DDR 400Mhz

Additional context
This problem doesn't occur on version 124, or any prior version I have used. I also have uBlock Origin installed, in case that's relevant.

It looks like another InitOnce/cpuid issue. Try the debugging version of progwrp.dll listed in this issue: #1062 (comment)

I tried what you asked, and it generated an initonce_fail_log.txt , but the log is empty. Supermium is still crashing on startup.

@win32ss i have same problem, using a while...then supermium crash...should i create new issues, or just post .dmp file to here?

If it's similar hardware, then it is mostly likely related. But if it's newer hardware (after Pentium 4), then it would be different and need a separate issue.

Supermium 132 is building now. Its handling of this issue should be different.
