Quick Voice-recording

In the mindset of making storyboarding as fast as possible. Would it be possible to have a button that records a soundfile an puts it in the timeline directly so I don't have to move over to another program. Record temp-voices blindly. Export that as a soundfile. Return to storyboarder, import that file and place it in the timeline.
