Any updates on this? I'd love this feature! |
Thanks for the feature requests! There is some discussion in this issue about whether to add a UI button for single line breaks. There hasn't been a decision made about adding that either to the Aztec editor or to the WordPress app's Aztec implementation. |

Also mentioned in #4856871-zen. EDIT: Also moving this to wordpress-mobile/gutenberg-mobile#559 per the comment below. 😁 |
4860430-zen User's idea: Hit Enter once for next line, twice for new block. EDIT: Moving this to wordpress-mobile/gutenberg-mobile#559 |
This is a feature request.
Sometimes, one wishes to have a linebreak inside a paragraph or list item, and not start a new item.
This is possible with a keyboard by pressing shift+enter.
With the iOS on-screen keyboard, it's not possible.
There should be a way to enter a newline without going into the HTML editing mode.
One possibility is by adding a "↵" button to the toolbar.
