Conflicts and misbehavior if have more than one media source with same path

I just upgraded from Leia 18.3 to Leia 18.9, and have discovered that having more than one file source with the same path (e.g. sftp://site.blah.com:9021/) but different logins ends up getting conflated with each other, since they seem to be identified only by the path without the username.

If accessed through the "Browse for new share" interface (after having added them using "Add network location..."), even though the identical paths aren't distinguishable from the top level listing, the proper contents are shown when descending into them. However, when adding them to the library via "Add videos...", whichever source was last used ends up replacing all the added items, so that only the last one is accessible, but in all the items using the same path.

This was not a problem on the older (v18.3) version I was using previously.

I'm not sure if this is a problem with the plugin or with kodi's use of it, but it seems likely that the problem is due to the path being shown in the interface not including the username in the url, and something under the covers can't distinguish them without that.
