Modify settings?

Hello first of all thank you for a great port, it is really nice to have this wonderful visualiser in Kodi. One question though, is it somehow possible for me to manually edit some settings (transition speed for example) and then compile it with my changes for Kodi? Would it be possible for you to direct me to the correct settings file for this and then how to compile it for Kodi (when I directly import the zip from github kodi refuses install). Thanks in advance for your help and all the best Adam :)
