Unable to send messages after a period of time

Description
Sending a message leads to either "Something went wrong. Click to learn more" error or the message appears as sent with a single tick but is never sent.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Start the app
2. Let it stay in background for a while
3. Try to message

This isn't 100% reproducible but can get annoying at times where even restarting doesn't work. You can see the error in 2nd ss.
I had gotten it once but forgot to get the log from terminal but I was finally able to reproduce the error and show it in terminal It wouldn't appear in terminal most of the times, not sure if its related.
On another note, reproducing bugs when launching app from terminal is hard, bugs dont occur most of the times but do if you start from application launcher, shortcut etc.
I had the same issue with #284

Expected behavior
Able to send message without any issue
