lotide

A mini clone of the Lodash library.

Purpose

BEWARE: This library was published for learning purposes. It is not intended for use in production-grade software.

This project was created and published by me as part of my learnings at Lighthouse Labs.

Usage

Install it:

npm install @xtremeyou/lotide

Require it:

const _ = require('@xtremeyou/lotide');

Call it:

const results = _.tail([1, 2, 3]) // => [2, 3]

Documentation

The following functions are currently implemented:

  • function1(...): description
  • assertArraysEqual(): asserts if two arrays are equal
  • assertEqual(): asserts if two values
  • head(): returns the first element of an array
  • middle(): returns the middle element of an array
  • tail(): returns the tail of an array
  • without(): returns an array without the unwanted elements
  • countOnly(): returns the count of the elements in an array
  • countLetters(): returns the count of the letters in a string
  • findKey(): returns the key of the
  • findKeyByValue(): returns the key of the
  • letterPositions(): returns the position of the letters in a string
  • map(): returns the map of the elements in an array
  • takeUntil(): returns the elements of an array until the callback returns true
  • eqObjects(): returns true if two objects are equal
  • eqArrays(): returns
