Care to explain?

Could be as simple as needing to add something to the close method, I suppose?

Sorry, that was vague 😄 My observation was that the serial comms became unresponsive (e.g. doesn't move with set_position) after the client restart.

I suspect you are right about revising the close method.

The other thing with these motors in particular is that they undergo a relatively long startup procedure, which includes homing (after I think a 5 second wait) so could just be need to wait for it to be ready
