it does what it says (almost), i use it on oneplus8t custom android 12 AOSP based rom, it switches the refresh rate from 120hz to 60hz when there is no input from touchscreen for X milliseconds. I didnt test the battery drain before and after but it should save a lot (10-15% for simillar stock implemented function in MIUI\OneUI). Works like a charm because its so simple.
Do not set the timer value for lower than ~1000-2000ms because it will cause lags for long swypes, I use it on 700ms anyway
