As I understand this as someone who is NOT a lawyer but is still familiar with
this question, using this software does not exempt you from existing radio
operator licensing requirements in your or any other jurisdiction.
The FCC regulations on packet radio are not my wheelhouse but I am sure this
github issue will wake up the HAM radio people lurking out there,.
I did not tried it myself, but I'm almost sure that answer is "yes".
However with very low bandwidth or very high latency network may be unusable.
If anyone knows what are minimum requirements for Yggdrasil, please share such information.
My guess is that at least few kilobytes per second and less than 1 second latency are needed.
