Just sticking this here to document that the work is already in progress. I'm working on it in https://github.com/mcronce/steamcontroller - I should have a PR in sometime this week.

As a follow up, it took a while to learn my way through EventModule so I could get a left stick click vs left pad hack worked out. Pretty sure that's fully functional now. Last on the list to at least support my sample VDF is modeshifting.
