"Error: Invalid entity config" since last night

Hi everyone, i have 10-15 entities defined in node-red, last night they stopped working (no updates or anything) and now they throw Error: Invalid entity config when restarting the flow. I don't see any logs on the home assistant side and node red only logs this. What could be the cause? Is there a way to debug what's the root cause?

Unless you directly modified the flows.json file, there's no way for the Node-RED backend to alter flow data. Flows can only be modified by deploying changes through the Node-RED UI. Did you modify any flows or accidentally delete an entity config?

If you open the nodes reporting the missing entity config in the editor, do they still have an entity config selected?

The system was restarted a few times (a couple times with a abrupt power interruption) and flow was changed but none of the HA entities manually changed.
Double clicking on the "Binary sensor" shows an entity config selected, modifying the entity config I see the server, device, type, name, icon all set. I'l try to recreate a few of them from scratch and see if it works again.

Ok tried to create a new node, with a new entity config, didn't make a difference, trying to change something else.

Tried to create a new server (for some reason I see 2 servers in the entity config, but in the "config" sidebar with all the ha-entity-config, ha-device-config I don't see any server until I create a new one, maybe the upgrade to 0.75 (which happened last week) doesn't support older nodes or the config I have or something...
Also when creating a new HA server in the configs it says "This node requires Node-RED custom integration to be installed in Home Assistant for it to function" but I do have that (1.1.2, not the latest but seems to require 1.1.0+)

Ok so after creating a new server, resetting all entities (changing the server and setting a device), everything started working again, not sure what was the root cause but maybe some updates together with something else made the old server/nodes/config invalid.
The system created all new entities (without having replaced the entity config)

Fixed it for me. Probably an issue with upgrading through so many versions? I've been upgrading for probably like 5-6 years so maybe it was inevitable. Very frustrating issue, but glad I found this!
