Integrating SimpleMedia into Clip

It would be nice to have a Plugin for SimpleMedia; so we had in PhotoShare: Valueble for Link, pre-link and so on ... .
My skills do not allow me, to search the right positions in files. Perhaps You might tell me the right code.

I don't know exactly how to provide a plugin in Clip yet. Have to look, cannot be too difficult. Keep in mind that Clip is Doctrine1 and needs an update to Doctrine2 to keep on working beyond 1.3.x.
