We gave Ascent tutorial as part of the LLNL RADIUSS AWS Tutorial series on 8/22
Nicole addressed a tricky compositing bug related to negative depth values that occurred rendering a 2D dataset.
- Reported by IBM in support of PyFR
It's time for us to test the VTK-m 1.9 RC
- Nicole has already has VTK-h to VTK-m log changes fixed
We have been tweaking and addressing lots of CI and build issues.

Oregon seeing on going AMR Wind Performance issues
- Lots of small patches impact performance
- VTK-m working on a few strategies for dispatching multiple domains
- Looked for memory leaks but didn't find leaks
- HIP flag propagation issue was tracked down to Kokkos
- Current issue: No longer can compile latest AMR Wind (Compiler Crashes -- Crusher ROCm 5.2)
Spack Update
- Waiting for RAJA Suite Release (One of our major blockers was resolved with Camp bug fix release)

- We now have ROCm CI testing, and script to build tpls with ROCm.
Great Amalgamation Progress Report
- Still working on merge for long standing expressions refactor
- Right before 0.9.0 release, we will finish with some reorg of dir structures.
