Context and steps to reproduce

In the classic editor, Twitter/X embeds don't work and display a link instead.

On simple sites, this happens for both x.com and twitter.com URLs.

On Atomic sites, embeds using the twitter.com URLs work correctly. However, X embeds using the new x.com URLs don't and show only a link instead.

@ariel-maidana , thank you. It's likely related to this issue: #96010 ; in both cases our system breaks links only for twitter.com and only on simple, so I'll close this one in favor of that, and note that it's the same problem in both editors.
