and show liveview display. 'Start' and 'Stop' buttons will start/stop movie capture (to camera's SDCard). Should be started with the '-g' flag to get the GUI, ie: $ pyLiveView.py -g If started without GUI, recording will be started automatically. Other options available (see '-h' or '--help').

Whilst it may not be appropriate for an example/test piece of code, I wanted to point out that the 'pyLiveView' example can be made into a standalone app on Windows using py2exe. I only mention this as there does not appear to be a way to trigger movie recording on the QX10/30/100 cameras without having a cell phone. If you want to go this route you need a 'setup.py' and to run 'python setup.py py2exe'. A good starting point would be: |
