This a major release with some breaking functionality. Because of that we recommend this for new installations only. Please see details below for additional restrictions and recommendations.

Major changes:

  • Removed Unit Conversion functionality
  • Maintainability:
    • updated developer environment
    • removed 32-bit support
    • moved documentation online to SimSinter readthedocs
  • Security fixes:
    • Newtonsoft.Json update
    • verified developer for installer

Known issues:

  • unknown state of gPROMS support (due to no access to gPROMS executable)

Tested platforms:

Unless noted otherwise these are the versions we have tested against. Earlier versions may work. Please let us know your experiences if you install and run with a set up not mentioned below.

  • Windows: Windows Server 2022, Windows 11, Windows 10 Pro
  • Aspen: v10, v11, v12, v14
  • Turbine Lite: 3.0.0 (versions prior to Turbine Lite 3.0.0 are incompatible with this version of SimSinter)
  • Foqus: 3.20.0, 3.19.0
