Getting BR to work

Unlockers

In order to run BR you MUST have a Lua Unlocker.

  • Daemonic

    • Platform: Windows
    • Get it here: Daemonic Website - Create an account to access the store.
    • How to use / Troubleshooting: Refer to Daemonic FAQ, and read product FAQ carefully before purchasing any products.
    • Discord: Daemonic Discord
    • **Installing BR with Daemonic**

      1. Once you have downloaded BR (from Github) and Daemonic (from their website), extract them both to the same folder. _MAKE SURE THE FOLDER IS CALLED “BadRotations” and NOT “BadRotations-master”. Rename it. Also note that the name is case sensitive. Do NOT name it bAdRoTaTiOnS.❗❗

      2. Download BR-Loader.lua this file and place it where your unlocker exe file is. You'll end up with a folder looking like this:

      3. You’re done. Start WoW and enjoy your flight.

  • NilName

    • Platform: Windows
    • Get it here: NilName Website - Create an account to access the store.
    • How to use / Troubleshooting: Refer to NilName's Discord, linked below, for additional information.
    • Discord: NilName Discord
    • **Installing BR with NilName**
      1. Once you have downloaded BR (from Github) and NilName (from their website), extract them both to the same folder. _MAKE SURE THE FOLDER IS CALLED “BadRotations” and NOT “BadRotations-master”. Rename it. Also note that the name is case sensitive. Do NOT name it bAdRoTaTiOnS.❗❗
      2. Move the BadRotations folder into a folder called "scripts" INSIDE the folder containing the NilName files.
      3. Copy _BRLoader.lua from BadRotations/3rd Party Files/NoName and place it the "scripts" folder where your unlocker exe file is.
      4. Copy "Media" folder from BadRotations/3rd Party Files and place it in the "AddOns" folder of your WoW installation (IE: Where all the addons are installed).
      5. You’re done. Start WoW and enjoy your flight.

  • Tinkr

    • Platform: Mac
    • Get it here: Tinkr Website - Create an account to access the store.
    • How to use / Troubleshooting: Refer to Tinkr's Discord, linked below, for additional information.
    • Discord: Tinkr Discord
    • **Installing BR with Tinkr**
      1. Once you have downloaded BR (from Github) and Tinkr (from their website), extract them both to the same folder. _MAKE SURE THE FOLDER IS CALLED “BadRotations” and NOT “BadRotations-master”. Rename it. Also note that the name is case sensitive. Do NOT name it bAdRoTaTiOnS.❗❗
      2. Move the BadRotations folder into a folder called "scripts" INSIDE the folder containing the Tinkr files.
      3. Copy "Media" folder from BadRotations/3rd Party Files and place it in the "AddOns" folder of your WoW installation (IE: Where all the addons are installed).
