Changelog since the official FunKey S release
New feature
-
Savestates/Instant Play are now supported thanks to Jackamilio! It works the same way as the other emulators, just open the FunKey menu to find the options. Savestates are saved to the
FunKey/.sm64-port/
folder like the game saves and settings file.
WARNING: It seems like the savestates may not work between releases. For now we cannot ensure that savestates created with this release will work with the next one (if any)!!
Improvements
- Adapted the HUD and dialog boxes to the FunKey S resolution.
- Halved the cursor speed on Mario's screen and file selection menu (was too fast before).
- Replaced the blurry OPK icon.
- Optimized 240x240 mode: performance is now better (between 2-3% and 10-15% depending on the scene).
STRETCHED
andSCALED
modes have been removed because they are now useless imho. Thanks to Jackamilio.
Bug fixes
- Fixed the garbled sky in sequences without a skybox (penguin race for instance). This also fixes the star selection screen that was not cleared when switching stars (ticket #67).
- Fixed the smoke bug from the original ROM when Mario is burning (ticket #8).
- Fixed shader glitch with transparent ghosts (ticket #83).
Installation
- Go to this page and follow the instructions carefully. You need to provide your own ROM file (only the US version is supported), then place the resulting OPK in "Native games" folder on your SD card and launch it with GMenu2X frontend (or RetroFE if you have installed my custom OS).
