To do:

  • create a virtual photon species with the correct number of particles and with attributes same as primary particles
  • draw the virtual photon energy (momentum?) from the correct probability distribution

Issues:

  • fails with particles.do_tiling = 0
  • issues with ADIOS: RuntimeError: FATAL CODING ERROR: ADIOS Index file ./diags/diag1/openpmd_000000.bp is assumed to always contain n*64 byte-length records. The file size now is 226 bytes.
