Community Projects

With TASing being quite popular in the Celeste community, and with there being a lot of mods and ways to TAS the game, there is a large amount of TAS projects that people work on, ranging from modded packs, to playing the vanilla game with a mod that makes every jump an ultra. This is a list that tries to give information and notes on the more well known projects and where to find them. This will be continuously updated to include new projects and updated information when necessary.

Note: where TAS Files or Community is marked "Unorganized", many TASes from the Western community can be found in the official Celeste Discord. Files should be located in #tas-sharing or #tas-project-files, and people can discuss those projects in #tas-project-discussion.

This old draft of the list contains descriptions of each project. It seems like people prefer the format of the current draft, but this version will remain for now to preserve the descriptions, in case anyone finds them useful.

Maingame TASing	N/A	N/A	CelesteTAS	Main Celeste Discord	This is the TAS Project for the vanilla game, and is usually a good start for someone learning how to TAS. All of the full categories are the same as the speedrunning categories, so full information on those can be found on Celeste's speedrun.com page.
Strawberry Jam TASing	Celeste: Strawberry Jam Collab	N/A	StrawberryJamTAS	Main Celeste Discord	This is the TAS Project for the largest mod in the game, the Strawberry Jam Collab. There is only one full-game category that beats every level in every lobby, including the Heartsides, called "All Levels".
Strawberry Jam ARB	Celeste: Strawberry Jam Collab	Max%, All Cats All Challenges, All Gyms	StrawberryJamARB-TAS	Strawberry Jam ARB + Max% TAS	This is a TAS Project for Strawberry Jam that's entirely separate from the main one. The main portion of the project is beating the collab while collecting every single red berry throughout the collab, with almost every level of the ~100 levels having at least one berry to collect. The Max% subproject is taking that idea one step further and collecting all of every berry type, including the deathless berries and the secret Rainbow berries, more info on this can be found on the project github under "Max%". The All Cats All Challenges subproject is about beating every level while petting every cat and completing any bonus challenges that doesn't yield a reward like secret rooms or a secret alternate route. The All Gyms subproject was imported into this project, and it's about beating all 5 lobby gyms and their challenges back-to-back, starting with beginner gym.
Strawberry Jam Minimum Dashes	Celeste: Strawberry Jam Collab	Restricted, Semi-Restricted, Unrestricted	SJ-mindash-TAS	Strawberry Jam Collab - Mindash TASing	Strawberry Jam, but with the added challenge of minimizing the amount of dashes used. This makes for a much different route and very tricky maneuvering compared to the mod's any% counterpart. This project is split up into 3 different subprojects that are heavily related: Restricted, Semi-Restricted, and Unrestricted. More information about these 3 can be found in the discord server.
Spring Collab 2020	The 2020 Celeste Spring Community Collab	N/A	SC2020 TAS	N/A*	The prequel to Strawberry Jam, and one of, if not THE first massive mega-collab projects to have been created by the community. It is made up of many different maps, all spread across 5 lobbies, and has a lot of interesting yet simple maps, even in TAS! There is no Discord server made for it, but the idea has been brought up a few times.
Spring Collab 2020 Minimum Dashes	The 2020 Celeste Spring Community Collab	N/A	SC2020 Dashless TAS	SC2020 Minimum Dashes	Spring Collab 2020, but with the added challenge of minimizing the amount of dashes used. This makes for a much different route and very tricky maneuvering compared to the mod's any% counterpart. This project has been in the works for many years, and has seen long periods of stagnation, so the people who work and oversee the project would massively appreciate any assistance, to let it finally get to completion!
Glyph TASing	Glyph	N/A	Glyph TAS**	N/A*	This is the TASing project for one of the most iconic single level mods, the Glyph mod, a very unique farewell difficulty level that has Madeline travelling sections based off the 4 seasons, a city-esque section, and secret void sections. It also has 2 different endings, depending on if you get to the final void section or not. While this was originally made as a standalone map, the glyph mod as a whole also has 6 extra levels to play. However, they are all based off of the full glyph level, with each level being a specific season from the original level, and as such they are called "Season-Sides". The 5th level is a void-side, which is based off the secret void sections in the original level and the void sections in the Season-Sides, and the 6th level is a void-side B-Side, the ultimate challenge in the mod. This TAS Project does all of it, and makes for an interesting viewing experience. Similar to SC2020, no Discord server exists for this project, but the idea has been thrown around.
D-Sides TASing	Monika's D-Sides	Final Goodbye (AKA 9D), D-Sides Museum	D-Sides-TAS	D-Sides TASing Server	This is the TASing project for one of the most iconic modded packs, Monika's D-Sides pack, which adds custom "D-Sides" based off the vanilla levels. There is also a subproject specifically for the level Final Goodbye, AKA. 9D or Farewell D-Side, as that level's TAS is over 40 minutes long and is split into many different checkpoints. There is another subproject for the D-Sides Museum, a 2nd separate level pack that has old D-Sides that have been discarded from the main pack for one reason or another, or levels that are significantly different than their current predecessor in many ways.
Ultra Jump TASing	Extended Variant Mode	D-Sides, Main-Game Mindash	UltraJumpTas	Ultra Jump TAS	This is the TAS Project for the vanilla game except with the additional modded variant, Every Jump Is An Ultra. Jumps now give you an ultra speed-boost and cornerboosts give ultra^2 speed. There are also subprojects for D-Sides and another for beating main-game with as few dashes as possible. The Main-game repository is linked but to visit the other Github repositories, join the discord!
Maingame Superdash TASing	N/A	N/A	Celeste-Superdash-Maingame-TASes	Celeste Superdash TAS	The TASing project for the vanilla Superdash variant, which doubles the duration of your dash and lets you curve it. Contains files for vanilla chapters and speedrun categories such as Any%, All Chapters, ARB, and 100%. The discord also hosts smaller Superdashing projects such as Into the Jungle and Monika's D-sides.

*N/A on "Discord Server" doesn't just mean that there isn't a TAS discord server for that project, but specifically it means that the files for the project are shared through the Celeste Community Discord in the non-specific "TAS_sharing" and "TAS_project_files" channels, unlike Maingame and Strawberry Jam which do have specific dedicated channels in Celestecord. **The glyph github shown here is incomplete, as it only features stuff for 100%. This doesn include all of the Season-Sides, including Void-Side A and B, and it does show the entirety of the Glyph level itself including the berries and heart, but it doesn't include any%, just berries, or just the heart.
