Region 13

There are 12 Head Start regions in total. "Region 13" is the designation Head Start gives to grantees who no longer have responsibility for the program that received the grant.
 Such grantees are placed in "interim" status while funding for the service area covered by that grantee is out for competition.
 The grantee is referred to as a "CDI Grantee" (which is synonymous with Region 13), because CDI is the vendor OHS has appointed to run Head Start and Early Head Start programs while the grantee is in interim status.
