Hi @HengruiZhu99! I was reading into AthenaK and came across this PR. This looks great and I think it'll help foster some very useful code comparisons! I just wanted to make you aware that over the past year or so I've been updating SpECTRE CCE's ability to read in different worldtube data quantities to give users options on what will work best for them. The latest of which can be found at sxs-collaboration/spectre#6502 and should be merged soon. A quick summary is that instead of dumping/computing time and radial derivatives of the spatial metric, lapse, and shift, we'll compute the radial derivative if supplied the cartesian derivatives, and we'll compute the time derivatives if given the extrinsic curvature and auxiliary shift vector (assuming If you'd like to chat more about this let me know, or if you're going to APS later this month, I'll also be there and presenting on this exact topic. |
Hey @knelli2, thanks for reaching out, and great to know this! Would it improve the accuracy from the CCE? Look forward to your talk, and we should discuss this at the APS meeting! |
Script for converting the binary output of adm variables on a shell from athenak to worldtube data for the spectre CCE module. Tested at low resolution. Creating this MR on behalf of @rashti-alireza.
