This Ruby gem loads the Microsoft SQL Server JDBC driver.
Install this gem and require 'jdbc/mssql'
within JRuby
Add this line to your application's Gemfile:
gem 'jdbc-mssql'
And then execute:
$ bundle
Or install it yourself as:
$ gem install jdbc-mssql
This is a very minimal and basic sample.

Supported Java version are 8, 11 or greater
Starting from driver version 12.2.0
gem follows same version as jdbc driver
Do not use these versions unless you have to such as java 7, 9, or 10

To install this gem onto your local machine, run bundle exec rake install
. To release a new version, update the version number in version.rb
, and then run bundle exec rake release
, which will create a git tag for the version, push git commits and tags, and push the .gem
file to rubygems.org.
