The only way of accessing/calling an ambulance in India is by calling 102. But what if we are in a place where the signal strength is weak? In India, especially during the pandemic situation, we weren't even sure if an ambulance would reach us for help. What if that situtation occurs again? Every time an ambulance is late to reach it's location, there is a change that we might loose a precious life.
- Poor mobile signal strength.
- No guarantee if ambulance would reach on time.
- Time wasted when the patient has to go through primary checks at the hospital before starting the treatment.
A mobile/web application which would share the location of the emergency with the admin and an ambulance network, which in turn would send the ambulance nearest to the emergency for help. We would use the geolocation (Coordinates) of the device from which the emergency is reported. This information would be send to the admin.
We could further develop our project by creating a real-time ambulance network. The admin will then have access to the current location of all ambulances.
