iBasso DX90 firmware modified by Lurker

DISCLAIMER: No changes were made to the basic player functionality and behavior! Expect the same bugs and misbehavior found in the base stock firmware! No warranty at all: use the modified firmware at your own risk and responsibility!

  • DX90FirmwareV2.1.5-L4.zip - highly optimized (please read about Ultimate cleanup), the fonts are replaced with one based on Roboto Condensed, my build of NTFS driver. The smallest DX90 firmware ever :)
  • DX90FirmwareV2.1.5-L5.zip - based on L4, with the original fonts.
  • DX90FirmwareV2.1.5-L2.zip - people at head-fi.org said, it is "the best they have heard, with a natural, layered and energetic sound" (*). The font is replaced with one based on Roboto Condensed.
  • DX90FirmwareV2.1.5-L3.zip - same as L2, but with default fonts.

NOTE: to tell which version is running, go to Settings->Advanced->System Info and check the Model number. The modification version number (L0, L1 etc) is right after the actual model number (DX90).
