Changing armor on characters with an existing asset

STILL A WIP TUTORIAL

Changing the armor a character wears can be difficult if you don't know what you are doing, In this tutorial I will be using Kai Leng as the armor model I want to change and one of Shepard's armors from the Citadel DLC as an example.

PART 1 - Finding The Mesh You Want To Replace

First you want to open the Package Editor and open the file you want the armor to have changed, I will be using BioD_Cat004_850KL.pcc Once the file is open in Package Editor you will want to click on File>Open In...>Meshplorer so you can properly find the Mesh you want to edit and its ID

Next you will want to find the piece of armor you want to change and find this ID and keep note of it:

Now that you have that number written down and saved somewhere, you will want to go back to Package Editor and search for it like this: After that you will hit the Goto # button by it and it will take you to that mesh

The reason you want to go here is so that you can put the mesh you want to replace it with near it so it is easy to find
