Paisley Park Setup

Setup

Prerequisites

Installation

  • Download Paisley Park if not done already.
  • Unblock and extract the archive wherever you want it. It does not have an installer.
  • Open up FFXIV and ACT, then start PaisleyPark.exe
  • In Triggernometry, add a remote trigger with this URL to enable hooking between Paisley Park and Triggernometry.
  • Start up the Paisley Park web server.

Paisley Park Web Server

  • Set the server port to whatever you wish (e.g. 1337).
  • Modify your firewall to allow your desired port, inbound, if not already enabled.

Inbound Rule

  • Run (Hotkey: WIN+R) wf.msc. This will open your Windows Firewall rules.
  • Right click on Inbound Rules and select New Rule...
  • Select Rule Type: Port
  • Protocol: TCP
  • Specific local ports: Whatever port you're using.
  • Action: Allow the connection
  • Profile: Check all profiles
  • Name: Whatever you wish.

Testing

To test the presets, teleport to Summerford Farms. Select the aetheryte. /poke it, then /clap for it.

You poke the aetheryte.
You clap for the aetheryte.

These two combat log lines are used in Triggernometry to trigger the Paisley Park web server REST API.

Using Paisley Park Triggers

Before using these markers, I strongly encourage you to test them out in TEA. Doing this will tell you if they are the correct markers for the strategy you intend to use. For the most part these markers are based off TPS strategy. The major exceptions to their markers shown in their videos is more markers for Temporal Stasis 1 to help in learning (you might be able to disable this trigger in particular after doing it a few times), and the markers for Wormhole Formation. Wormhole formation we decided to only place markers on E/W (the two relevant cardinals), and two other markers on the "open" or "Limit Cut" side of the Voids. This decision was made as numbers 1-4 have insanely easy jobs that essentially don't need markers.

  • To place initial markers, simply /slap living liquid. This will be updated soon™ to happen automatically when Living Liquid enters combat, or becomes an entity.
  • As for Temporal Stasis and Inception, those happen automatically as Alexander Prime begins to cast them.
  • Wormhole markers must currently be placed manually. /poke while not targeting anything for NE/SW Voids, /wave while not targeting anything for NW/SE Voids. This is also on the list to improve.
