Multiomics Microbiome KP

Gwênlyn Glusman edited this page Oct 16, 2024 · 2 revisions

Description: The Multiomics Microbiome KP, created and maintained by the Multiomics Provider, provides algorithmically-generated knowledge assertions derived from the supplemental tables supporting published microbiome papers.

Example: The Multiomics Microbiome KP shows that helminthiasis (MONDO:0004664) has a statistically significant association gut bacteria of the order Burkholderiales (adjusted p-value = 0.0026), as reported in Supplemental Table 3 of Gobert et al., 2022.

Key methodologic metrics provided on edges: The KP presents, for each relationship, statistical metrics like the strength of the correlation, the p-value (corrected for multiple testing), and the number of individuals that contributed to the calculation (N), if available from the publication.

The graph currently uses predicates: biolink:associated_with, biolink:correlated_with, biolink:negatively_associated_with, biolink:positively_associated_with, and biolink:affects. Node categories include biolink:Gene, biolink:OrganismTaxon, biolink:ChemicalEntity, biolink:GeneFamily, biolink:SmallMolecule, and many more.
