Generally... Components should be 400x300 (container default in TD) and can have up to 6 CHOP inputs for control with little 100x50 controls / previews of each input on the left. The remaining right 300x300 area is usually for a 256x256 texture preview of the output TOP with a 22 pixel border (300-256 = 44/2 = 22).
