VAICOM PRO 3.0.0.0 Community Edition

This update is the culmination of about four months of slowly working on keywords and bugs, trying to clean up the software to reflect the latest DCS lua script standard, and trying to align Vaicom with where I think it needs to go. Finally, my pet project, a Chatter theme for Afghanistan using real world CAS, ISR and Tanker comms recorded over Afghanistan from 2004 through to 2014. I have been tapping away on the Afghanistan theme for about 6 months off and on, some of the comms can be confronting but reflect the reality of war, if you don’t want to listen to this, don’t select the theme on.

• Fix errors in keywords and add many more standard keyword phrases.
• Add new DCS Ground Crew, Wingman and Flight commands.
• Provides support for Whisper Attack users by providing a clean VSPX.vap file for use.
• Fix the Export.cs routine to allow clean export.
• Change PTT Tab indication when ‘No Module Detected’.
• Add F-5E Flaming Cliffs version to modules (WIP) you must start Voice Attack after entering the cockpit in this aircraft as DCS will crash, unresolved at this stage.
• Add community mod F/A-18 E/F Super Hornet and E/A-18G Growler as supported modules.
• Add Afghanistan and Iraq theaters to ATO kneeboard time zones.
• Add the Afghanistan Chatter theme.

YOU MUST DO A KEYWORD RESET AND RESTART VOICE ATTACK, DO FINISH IN THE EDITOR AND PASTE THE NEW KEYWORD SET TO THE PROFILE AS DESCRIBED IN THE MANUAL.

There have been changes since DCS Version 2.9.6.X that adds new rearm routine to support
Dynamic Spawn Client Slots, Some Users have reported issues when jumping between Dynamic slots and Vaicom Pro not recognizing the module.

VAICOM PRO 2.9.9.8 Community Edition

This update is a complete rebase of the Vaicom Pro appended lua files to fix many small bugs due to changes in the DCS core Common.lua and Speech.lua. It also stops Vaicom from corrupting DCS UI Script files when it unloads and restores them.
This update adds support for the great Iraq (North) terrain and adds support for the upcoming Afghanistan (East) terrain.

• Fix errors in DCS UI Script restore files.
• Fix many errors in Appended lua files to conform with current DCS standard
• Fix errors in database.
• Add new Iraq (North) airfields to ATC recipient’s database.

VAICOM PRO 2.9.9.3 Community Edition

This update adds Kola terrain to the new file patching routine that allows Vaicom Pro to append individual
terrain modules radio.lua files. This will pick up Bodo and add some UHF frequencies to other military fields
for use with Easy Comms and in turn the use of the "Select" command in Vaicom Pro. It also adds the new Syrian airfields expansion to the recipients list. There are some small bug fixes.

VAICOM PRO 2.9.7.2 Community Edition

This update adds a new file patching routine that allows Vaicom Pro to append individual
terrain modules radio.lua files. This will mean that incomplete files from the Developer that
prevent the use of Easy Comms and in turn the use of the "Select" command in Vaicom Pro
with certain airports ATC's. It also adds the new Sinai airfields to the recipients list. There are
also, some fixes for a couple of other bugs.

• Introduce new radio.lua patching routine.
• Add Nevada Radio.lua swap file.
• Add Sinai Radio.lua swap file.
• Add new Sinai airfields to ATC recipient’s database.

This update corrects Comms PTT allocation for non SRS PTT mode and fixes up some other bugs.

• Fix AV-8B Harrier COMM1 and COMM2 handling.
• Fix F/A-18C Non SRS PTT Mode VHF TX slot moved to TX3.
• Fix A-10C II SRS PTT Mode radios not functioning correctly.
• Fix F-5E SRS PTT Mode radio not functioning correctly.

This HOTFIX corrects Comms PTT handling and fixes up some other bugs.

• Fix F-16C Non SRS PTT Mode UHF and VHF TX slots.
• Fix AJS-37 Viggen FR22 and FR24 TX slots.

There have been changes in DCS Version 2.9.6.X that adds new rearm routine to support Dynamic Spawn Client Slots, and also appears to set up the radios for preset handling via lua input. Data Cards perhaps? Anyway, interesting times.

VAICOM PRO 2.9.6.0 Community Edition

VAICOM PRO plugin 2.9.6.0

This update adds new aircraft and terrain to the supported modules list. It also adds support for the next version of Voice Attack while maintaining backward compatibility with the current version.

• Added OH-58D(R) as a supported aircraft (WIP see notes below).
• Added CH-47F as a supported aircraft.
• Added Afghanistan (south) terrain to ATC recipients list.
• Added support for Voice Attack 2.0 when released.
• Fixed AJS37 Viggen FR24/FR22 Radios Requires next release of DCS to function (thanks HeatBlur for the change)
• Changed DX update loop refresh to be quicker (feedback appreciated if you see performance issues)

With the additional terrain added you will need to update your profile keywords using the Test > Finish steps.

Known Issues

• F-14 A/B Tomcat, wheel chocks must be set then removed in some cases.
• Due to module design, Mirage F1 and A10-C kneeboard is not on the first page
• Mirage f1 Kneeboard cover causes issues (recommend deleting it (1.png) from \DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\Mirage-F1\Cockpit\Mirage-F1\Mirage-\KNEEBOARD\pages folders.
• Easy comms/Instant select at some airports will not function due to map developers’ incomplete data. Can still be manually tuned. E.g most of the Sinai airports.
• VaicomPro manual needs updating for Kola and Afghanistan map and page numbering
• OH-58D(R) Radio is multi rather than single PTT until I can work out why it’s not functioning as expected.

VAICOM PRO 2.9.5.0 Community Edition

This update adds the mighty Phantom II and the Kola Peninsula map.
NB. Minimum tested version of Voice Attack is now 1.12.0

• Added F-4E-45MC to the supported modules (No Jester 2.0 yet).
• Changed SRS PTT handling on some modules.
• Added Kola Peninsula terrain to ATC recipients list.
