World overrides GUI

The world overrides GUI allows specification of various properties of the world.

The Gamemode button allows choosing between the creative, survival, and hardcore gamemodes. You can also leave it as the current gamemode. The allow cheats button controls whether you can use commands in the downloaded world. It's enabled by default, because in most cases you do not want to restrict this (especially switching to creative to build). If you want, you can turn it off.

Time and weather both allow changing those properties in the downloaded world. By default, it'll be the time and weather from when you stopped downloading.

Spawn position controls where you respawn when you die in the downloaded world. "Automatic" will use the server's respawn position*. Note that What World Downloader can't do, you will be sent back to the world spawn (you can sleep in a bed in the downloaded world to fix this). "Player position" uses your location from when you stopped download, useful if you want to respawn in a place near your base (and not in some chunks that you may not even have downloaded). You can also manually enter some coordinates (for example, next to your bed).

*This is actually the location that a compass points to; it may not be the real spawn location on some minigame servers.
