How To: Load Mod Presets
Since players may have different mod loadouts for different game saves, it becomes convenient to be able to mass enable and disable mods. With the Stardew Valley Mod Manager, loading a Mod Preset is incredibly easy and painless.
By default, this application comes with a single preset which can be used to enable only the vanilla SMAPI mod configuration.
You may want to learn how to create a mod preset first.
- To get started, open the application.
- Click on the "Load Preset" button.

- Select a mod preset from the available files list. Mod presets are saved in TXT format, so they can even be custom tuned (for advanced users). The "Load Preset" button will always take you to the presets save location, but if you download a custom preset online - you can browse to it and select it.

Once you click "Load Preset", the Stardew Valley Mod Manager will automatically move all mods that need to be enabled into the "Enabled Mods" list and will remove any enabled mods that aren't in the preset to the "Disabled Mods" list. Please note: if you've removed a mod that was in a preset, the preset will still work - but that mod will not be enabled as it no longer exists.
