Release 6.1 - compatible with Thunderbird 115.*

Please note that QuickFolders is compatible with the latest version of Thunderbird (115.1) - if you get a message that says otherwise after updating from earlier versions (e.g. Tb91) or if QuickFolders cannot be enabled with the blue slider, simply remove it and reinstall it via "Find more Add-ons" search box on the Extensions tab of Add-ons Manager.

Enhancements

  • Tabs for unified folders (such as Unified Inbox) now support showing the actual folders, renamed to their account names.
  • Fixed integration of main toolbar with single message tab / Select current folder in toolbar when switching to single mail tab. [issue #374]
  • Redesigned menu icons and fixed a number of issues in the options screen - icons had some problems changing to dark themes. If you experience missing colors in QuickFolders settings, you can enable the about:config setting svg.context-properties.content.enabled = true
  • Added internal configuration Option to close tab after mail is moved from single message view. To activate the new option, set extensions.quickfolders.quickMove.singleTab.autoClose. [issue #375]
  • Moved [F9] keyboard shortcut to toggle folder pane to [F10], as F9 was reserved by Thunderbird. This can be changed from the Add-ons Manager via the tools menu.

Bugfixes

  • Fixed: Create new subfolder while dragging to tab throws error.
  • Fixed: quickJump shortcut = to show most recent used folders broken [issue #382]
  • You can once again use the filter assistant to create filter rules with quickMove. [issue #385]
  • Corrected the reported number of messages moved when using quickMove. [issue #354]
  • Bookmarks: in Thunderbird 115 "Add current item" was not working [issue #376]
  • Fixed a minor issue with the background color of the QuickFolders toolbar label.
  • Fixed the color picker for custom colors in current folder toolbar.
  • Fixed: Changing 'minimum height' opens help topic instead. [issue #372]
  • Fixed: Custom navigation bar icon color picker doesn't work and could lead to unreadable current folder button. [issue #383]

Known Issues

  • Skip to next unread folder - this still needs some fixing as it may skip unread mails in the next unread folder. We are looking for a replacement function for something that isn't accessible in Thunderbird 115 anymore.
