The small patcher removes the black bars from the game at 21:9 and wider resolutions and unlocks the resolution selection and windowed mode options in the settings.

  1. Download the file below.
  2. Unpack the archive.
  3. Run the patcher to target each of the game files as guided by its interface.
  4. Select the desired resolution in the game.

Tested on the latest GOG version thoroughly at 2560x1080 and additionally at 3840x1080, 5760x1080 and many other resolutions.

Known and potentially serious issue:

There are three brief sections in the game where the fix causes the interactable areas to not be aligned with the visible radio knobs, which may appear as a softlock if unprepared.

The workaround options are as follows:

  • Play with a controller.
  • Understand the logic of the misalignment and click in the area on the right of the actual knob. This explanation may help.
  • Force the game to close, set the resolution to 16:9 and play through the affected section.
