  • Identify sentiment and bias of news and text online

  • Expand the project description to include these ideas for when you meet with other stakeholders in your project (e.g., project manager, mentors, customers, etc.)-
    The overall goal of this project is to create a service that detects and “scores” news articles in terms of bias and emotionally charged or potentially misinformative language. The tool will do so using natural language processing algorithms for sentiment analysis and topic modelling, and the service will either be a website or browser extension that analyzes an input news article’s text.

Captain: sending all work, including project reports and project meeting reports, to the instructor, disseminating the results of reviews and project feedback to the other members of the team, scheduling team meetings, coordinating project activities with your customer and interfacing with the project manager
