Finnish Historical Newspapers' political theme / position

This repository contains the data for setting up Finnish Historical Newspapers' political theme or position. The data sources are

1. Päiviö Tommila (editor.): Suomen lehdistön historia-book series (History of Finnish newspapers)
2. DHH15-hackathon listed 24 socialistic newspapers (also utilized Tommila book series)
3. Thesis of Keijo Lehto: Aatteista arkeen : suomalaisten seitsenpäiväisten sanomalehtien linjapapereiden synty ja muutos 1971-2005
4. Newspapers own information: order announcement (tilausilmoitus), editorial (pääkirjoitus) or profile paper (linjapaperi).

The list contains the newspapers which have most digitized pages available. The origins for this work were previous feedbacks got to https://digi.kansalliskirjasto.fi -service and especially the requests from researchers at the newspaper symposium of 2019.
